With the first weekend of the National Football League Preseason quickly sliding by, I thought it might be fun to drop back, if you will, survey the field and look for that open receiver without the proverbial hellacious rush breathing down my neck.
Yes, we are all wound a bit too tightly, folks. It is just preseason. Whether the Packers fix their pitiful running attack, whether Graham Harrell can find his rhythm, whether the defense can find its mojo and just how long Desmond Bishop will be out – yes, those are important questions to consider.
But not today.
Today I thought i might be fun just to relax and take a look at something fun, something not related to football, something that will put a smile on my face and give me time to think about something less stressful … kinda like when Packers coach Mike McCarthy took his team skeet shooting.
Yes, there will be those of you out there who will scream and whine like Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz. You will say, “this is football season. We work hard here and we make every minute count. When I come to this website, I want to read about football, I want to have every ounce of football information crammed down my throat because that’s what we do!”
Relax.
We’ll get back to football. There’s plenty of football season ahead and yes, we’ll give you what you want.
